Job Description:
Slade Pharmacy is a progressive organisation recognised as being at the cutting edge of community and hospital pharmacy services in Melbourne. We provide pharmacy services to private hospitals and our retail pharmacy, located at Epworth Hospital, is noted for its excellent service.
Due to internal progression we are currently recruiting for a Compounding Pharmacist
We require a qualified pharmacist to work in our state of the art compounding suite. You will be responsible for:
-Maintaining the quality manufacturing and delivery of compounded cytotoxic and sterile products to patients
-Liaising closely with the Operations Managers and clinical pharmacists of Slade Pharmacy to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of cytotoxic and sterile products
-Developing relationships with suppliers of sterile and oncology products to ensure best available market prices
The successful candidate will have hospital experience and will be qualified and registered to work as a pharmacist in Victoria.
Previous experience in an oncology role would be highly regarded but not essential.
