Dispensary Technician - Chemplus

We are currently seeking a motivated dispensary technician interested in joining our established team at Hutt Street Chemplus, employed on a Permanent Part Time basis.

Chemplus has over 60 pharmacies throughout metropolitan and country South Australia. All the individual owners are proud to be involved in assisting the community and understand pharmacy has a vital role in and around their local area.

We are currently seeking a motivated dispensary technician interested in joining our established team at Hutt Street Chemplus, employed on a Permanent Part Time basis.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be reliable, friendly, motivated and capable of working independently. Sound drug/product knowledge and familiarity with the Minfos dispensing system will be considered very favourably. You will be required to assist the Pharmacist in packing and dispensing medications, administration and invoice entry, sorting prescriptions and completing PBS claims, stock ordering, unpacking stock, updating files and maintaining the cleanliness of the dispensary. Working in this fast paced environment, you will thrive on ensuring accuracy and attention to detail is always maintained.

When not working in the Dispensary, you will be required to assist our valued customers with their various needs and requirements throughout the pharmacy. You will be proactive and continually strive to drive sales whilst ensuring our customers receive outstanding service and professional advice at all times.

You will need to be self motivated, possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to deliver superior customer service as part of our professional team.

The successful applicant must:

• Possess previous Pharmacy experience and have obtained relevant pharmacy qualifications, preferably in the Dispensary.
• Have a flexible attitude to your working roster, with some availability for weekends and evening shifts required.
• Have superior customer service skills and a passion for building customer relationships
• Possess strong communication skills
• Have a "can do, will do" approach to all tasks
• Possess strong computer skills. Previous experience with Minfos dispensing system will be an advantage.
