For those of you keen to keep abreast of technology updates, you may have been aware of the new operating system developing in the mobile community - Maemo. Based on Debian's Linux, this is an open-source operating system for mobile phones supported by Nokia and currently featuring on Nokia's new N900.
While still in early stages of development, Maemo is showing signs of brilliance. A further feather in its cap is the announcement that Mozilla Firefox has chosen to launch its first mobile web browser on the Maemo platform.
Available for download right now, version 1.0 will come with a pretty sweet feature named Weave Sync, which harmonizes your bookmarks, tabs, history and passwords across devices, making for a seamless transition between your desktop computer and your mobile one.
Also note, that both Maemo's default browser, and this feature of Firefox do support Adobe's Flash player!

Receiving a Response to Your Job Applications
In working with Jobs4Careers (www.jobs4careers.com.au) I am sometimes exposed to user comments informing me that they were expecting to hear back from an employer, but that no response was received. Similarly, many users neglect to fully complete the enquiry form available on Jobs4Careers' job application form nor do they attach a cover letter or resume.
