The first month of 2008 has come to an end, and our websites (Practice4Sale and Jobs4Careers) are off to a tremendous start for the new year. January, 2008 has been our biggest month in activity on the website, with the trend looking to continue based on the early statistics for February 2008.

Practices For Sale

We have had a number of new Businesses for sale listed in January 2008, including an Accounting Practice For Sale in Queensland, as well as a number of Pharmacies For Sale in Melbourne and NSW. Along with the existing listings on the website, Practice4Sale is fast becoming the destination for professional practices for sale.

Remember, if you are interested in selling a professional practice, you can advertise on Practice4Sale for 100 credits, for as long as required, (there is no expiry on the advertisement).

Professional Jobs

Our job facility located at Jobs4Careers continues to gain momentum, particularly in the Pharmacy industry. In January, our job searches were up over 30% with the top 10 keywords for searches being:

• pharmacist
• pharmacists
• assistant
• pharmacy assistant
• pharmacy
• pre-reg pharmacy
• trainee pharmacist/Pre registration pharmacist
• qld
• accounting
• junior sales assistants

Our advertising programme also includes the advertisement of Pharmacy Jobs in Pharmacy News - keep an eye out for us in the back page!

For 50 credits, you can advertise a position for as long as required on our website, which includes an advertisement on our website, links from our weekly update and, (for many), a place in Pharmacy News.

Job Applications

As part of our job application service, we provide an optional survey of system users to determine how they found the application process on Jobs4Careers. Of the respondants to date, close to 70% have determined that our Jobs Search, Job Viewing and Job Application steps are "Very Easy" to complete, with less than 10% feeling that the process was "Difficult".

Email Campaigns

Our weekly email campaign continues to gather strong results from users. We currently have close to a 10% click through rate from our emails, (the industry average is 2%), proving that our updates continue to provide valuable information and links to our registered users.

Security & Privacy

Remember that on Practice4Sale and Jobs4Careers we respect your privacy. Businesses listed for sale do not require any identifiable data to "protect the innocent". You do not need to disclose exact locations or business names when you advertise to ensure that your business sale remains confidential.

Feedback

We are trying to develop a resource that provides the services you require and value and seek your assistance in helping us achieve this.

In pharmacy, we are finalising our Locum Booking System to allow Locum Pharmacists and employers to find eachother in essentially a matching service.

In accounting and financial planning, we are looking to re-invigorate our job listings and have a number of businesses for sale that will appear on the site in February and March of this year.
