At Jobs4Careers and Practice4Sale, 2008 proved to be our best year yet. After being established in 1998, Practice4Sale has experienced some ups and downs in its management and development. However, in late 2007, we re-invigorated the site and re-launched its sister site, Jobs4Careers. In 2008, both sites underwent significant re-development and we have become the leading sites in pharmacy for practice sale and pharmacy jobs.
In addition, 2008 saw the incorporation of other professional practices. We have a number of accounting and chiropractic practices for sale, and will feature more professional professions throughout 2009. The 2008 Financial Crisis
2008 saw caused the unravelling of one of the largest financial meltdowns seen in recent times. The use of technology and the integrated global economies ensured the swiftness and far reaching effects of the crash were felt worldwide. While the cause of the crash lies in questionable lending policies and inflated pricing structures, the effects of the crisis will be felt for some time to come.
For pharmacy (and other health professions), times of economic hardship have proved to be times of growth. Empirical evidence suggests that in times of a stock market crash or a recession, pharmacy has boomed. What is your take on the next 12 months?
